Physical Therapy

PT Solutions uses many techniques to accomplish our patient’s goals, but hands-on, manual care is at the heart of our success. Our treatments are guided by the latest scientific evidence and advanced physical therapy training. Through specialized training, we understand when to safely and effectively apply joint manipulation, joint mobilization, soft tissue manipulation, or focused strengthening techniques.
Manual therapy is used to decrease pain and improve the mobility of patients experiencing pain. This approach uses a combination of manipulation/mobilization techniques of joint and soft tissue designed to help patients reduce pain and restore their functional movement.
The PT Solutions Approach
What We Treat
Therapeutic exercise programs are developed and tailored to the patient’s specific diagnosis. These long-term programs are designed to address pain and limitations and to increase the likelihood of future injury prevention. Therapeutic exercise teaches patients proper movement patterns and improves strength and endurance necessary for fully healing from current dysfunction.
PT Solutions utilizes a variety of evidence-based techniques to alleviate pain and eliminate dysfunction necessary for functional movement and activity. One of these techniques is dry needling (where allowed by state law). Dry needling uses a thin filoform needle for stimulating myofascial trigger points and homeostatic points. It can be used in combination with exercise and manual therapy to treat many conditions causing pain and dysfunction.
At PT Solutions, we are dedicated to rehabilitate your patient in the most effective and efficient ways possible. It is our goal to utilize the latest research combined with technology to achieve a new level of wellness for all patients. In our endless pool, we are capable of rehabilitating all patients from post-operative athlete to those who struggle with arthritis daily. In the beautiful facility made especially for this new pool, patients feel right at home with the state of the art conveniences which we have incorporated.
Patients are led one on one by doctoral trained physical therapists who uniquely design daily routines, which address each patient’s deficits. The option of the aquatic facility offers a unique setting for those patients who are not yet capable of performing land-based activities. The water itself offers buoyancy to decrease joint forces while the heat works to improve joint and tissue mobility. The hydrostatic pressure helps to improve circulation while the currents also help to offer resistance aiding in improved endurance and constant resistance.
