Internal Travel Program

The Internal Travel Program, started in 2019 in response to the growing practice, offers the benefits of travel therapy with the support and benefits of a full-time position. What began as a team of three travelers is now over 30 clinicians, including both occupational and physical therapists.

Therapist-Led

Kendall an Atlanta native, received her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Emory University.

She graduated from PT Solutions’ Orthopedic Residency Program and Pioneer Leadership Program. She has served as an internal travel physical therapist and a Clinic Director for clinics in Austin, Texas. While traveling for the practice, she led a cohort of the Orthopedic Mentorship Program.

Currently, she serves as an in-person mentor for the Orthopedic Residency and a Distance Mentorship Programs.

Team Engagement

Onboarding Process – Virtual meetings prior to each placement allow a personalized introduction to future rotation teams. Lay out expectations and prepare for the road ahead, feeling confident for your first day in a new location.

Travel Manager One-on-One – Meet with your Travel Manager monthly to ensure traveler goals and needs are met throughout your travel experience.

Internal Traveler Team Meetings – Monthly virtual touch base to share travel experiences, learn from previous travelers, and gain insight on future travel rotations.

Yearly Team Summit – A chance to engage with your travel team in person. Participate in specific traveler training, connect with practice leaders, and build relationships with your fellow travel team members.
