Certified Athletic Trainer – PRN


In collaboration with team physicians, the Certified Athletic Trainer functions as an integral participant in the PT Solutions Sports Medicine Care Team, providing services of excellence to our surrounding school districts and community.  The primary scope of the position is to improve the health and performance of athletes by delivering traditional athletic training services, supporting access to necessary services, and implementing best practices.   The athletic trainer must be successful at building strong relationships within schools and community organizations as this position is community based.

The certified athletic trainer will be responsible for prevention, recognition, and management of injuries. Individuals will provide services of excellence by implementing PT Solutions comprehensive sports medicine model.  The athletic trainer will be responsible for a patient population ranging from adolescents to young adult.


Certified Athletic Trainer. Must possess strong verbal and written communication, teamwork, and developmental skills and have a commitment to customer-focused delivery of athletic healthcare services.  Must have or be in the process of obtaining North Carolina license.  Current CPR Certification. Must be outgoing with excellent communication skills. Must be proficient in the oral and written English language. Experienced preferred however new grads are welcome.
