
Amanda earned her bachelor’s in exercise science from the University of North Florida and her doctorate in physical therapy from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Following her desire to hone her skills as a clinical expert in orthopedics, Amanda completed an Orthopedic Physical Therapy Residency Program. She is also a certified exercise physiologist through the American College of Sports Medicine.
As a military brat, Amanda spent her childhood living in the southeast United States and abroad. She moved to Tyler, Texas, in 2023 from Florida. Amanda has experience in many areas, including orthopedics, sports rehabilitation, pelvic floor, vestibular, neurological, geriatrics, and pediatrics. She has worked across the lifespan, from four to 93 years old.
Amanda brings experience working with D1 college and professional-level athletes to ensure a healthy and robust return to play. Using her strong foundational knowledge in human physiology and biomechanics, Amanda strives to return individuals to their functional and recreational activities without limitations.
When Amanda is not working, she enjoys spending time outdoors with her two dogs, hiking, camping, and rock climbing.
