Andrew Fila

Clinic Director

Originally from Petoskey, Michigan, Andrew attended Mount Vernon Nazarene University (MVNU) and received a bachelor’s degree in biology. While attending MVNU, Andrew played four years of college baseball and developed a passion for treating overhead athletes and sports injuries in general. Andrew then attended Grand Valley State University in Grand Rapids, MI and received his doctorate in physical therapy. After graduation, Andrew and his wife moved to East Tennessee and he completed an orthopedic residency program. What Andrew enjoys about physical therapy is the opportunity to promote healing and wellness in people’s lives that gives them the confidence to take their health into their own hands. Andrew enjoys hearing people’s stories and entering into their journey of life and wellness together. Andrew’s goal is for individuals to return to wellness while laughing, having fun, and feeling fully heard and cared for. Andrew wants to be a lifelong resource and friend that people feel comfortable reaching out to well after they have finished physical therapy.
