Andrew Shipp is a current orthopedic clinical specialist resident and staff physical therapist at the Lake Ridge Clinic in Woodbridge, Va. Andrew obtained his exercise science degree from Virginia Commonwealth University. While attending VCU, he competed in track and field as a sprinter and jumper. Following his 4 years there, he returned to coach sprints/jumps, leading VCU to their first women’s conference championship in school history. Andrew received his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from The Murphy Deming College of Health Sciences at Mary Baldwin University in 2018. His passions include sports rehab, with an emphasis on running, community service and engagement, youth sports, and strength and conditioning. Andrew has experience in multiple sectors of care including the ER, SNF, nursing home, ICU, inpatient rehab, and post-op management. Service and compassion driving his patient-centered care, Andrew looks forward to treating all diagnoses and impairments!
