Austin is originally from Greenville, South Carolina. He graduated from Presbyterian College in 2015 with a bachelor’s in psychology and a minor in Christian Education. He attended the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences, obtaining his doctorate in physical therapy in 2018. Following graduation, Austin earned his certification in dry needling, completed the PT Solutions Orthopedic residency in 2021, and became a Board Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist in 2022.

Before pursuing a career in physical therapy, Austin worked as a year-round swim coach with multiple national-level athletes and other swimmers striving to reach the state and national stages. With a background in coaching, psychology, and Christian education, Austin believes in a holistic approach to rehabilitation. He understands the importance of an individual’s overall mental, spiritual, and physical well-being.

Outside the clinic, Austin enjoys spending time with his wife, Mallory, his son, Oliver, and their two dogs, Paisley and Remi. Austin is an avid sports fan and enjoys cheering on the Gamecocks, Blue Hose, and all Boston sports teams.
