Bettiann Wing

Physical Therapist

Bettiann likes to say that a career in physical therapy found her. After meandering through her undergraduate at Seattle University without any true direction, she worked as a Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor and decided to apply to the physical therapy program at the University of Washington. It didn’t take her long to decide a career in physical therapy was the right choice for her, and she earned her Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy.

Bettiann uses a patient-centered, whole-body approach to care, focusing on tasks that are meaningful to the patient, using assessment and treatment tools to find and treat the primary driver of the dysfunction/pain with the goal of optimal, pain-free function. Over the many years that Bettiann has worked as a physical therapist, she has always had a commitment to continued education to broaden her knowledge through in-depth study in diagnosis and treatment of movement impairment syndromes, stability control, and a variety of manual therapy approaches. Treatment is a collaborative process, so she encourages her patients to take an active role in their care, empowering them with strategies for self-directed healing and recovery.

Outside of the clinic, Bettiann enjoys spending time with her husband outdoors biking and gardening.
