Brian earned his doctorate in physical therapy from Bellarmine University in Louisville, Kentucky, and a bachelor’s in exercise and sports science from Oregon State University. He has been practicing orthopedics for nine years and has performed over 30,000 patient evaluations, visits, and movement assessments. He uses his history as a personal trainer, multi-sport athlete, and physical therapist to maximize patient outcomes.
Brian specializes in treating patients with active lifestyles, including athletes ranging from amateur to professional in high-intensity sports such as basketball, soccer, baseball, and football. He has worked with tactical athletes such as police, fire, active-duty, and veteran military and brings experience treating various post-operative conditions, such as ACL reconstruction, rotator cuff repair, and total hip/knee arthroplasty.
Brian is also an active consultant in the healthcare and movement technologies fields, offering his expertise with partners such as Intel and a variety of wearable device and smart apparel companies. In addition to being an Advanced Training Specialist (ATS), he is also certified by the National Academy of Sports Medicine as a Performance Enhancement Specialist (NASM-PES).
When he’s not treating patients, Brian enjoys time with his family, participating in triathlons, running with his German shepherd, and playing basketball. Brian also volunteers as a sports physical therapist for Team Red, White, and Blue (RWB).
