Chris Mason, DPT, RAC, began his educational career at California State University, earning his bachelor’s degree in exercise physiology in 1991. Chris went on to earn his master’s degree in physical therapy from Fresno State in 2000 before working as a staff physical therapist at Function & Action Physical Therapy in Clovis, California. During this time, he also earned his Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) certification from the National Strength & Conditioning Association (NCSA), while also actively advocating for and promoting physical therapy in the Fresno and Clovis communities.
In 2005, Chris purchased and became owner of Fresno Physical Therapy. Continuing his education, Chris received his doctorate in physical therapy and Certification in Rehabilitation Administration from University of Montana in August 2019 through Rehab Essentials online program.
Chris partnered with PT Solutions in 2022 and brings a passion for mentorship. Chris is dedicated to being a clinical instructor and has experience mentoring interns and high school students in the ROP Sports Medicine program. He is also a mentor for high school students in the UCSF Fresno Latino Center for Medical Education and Research Program, which is a local grant program to give minorities opportunities to shadow professionals in their area of interest.
Outside of work, Chris enjoys spending time with family, playing slow pitch softball, golfing, fishing, and traveling. He has two sons, Garrett and Dylan, and a golden retriever mix named Ozzy.
