Dr. Christopher May PT, DPT, a native of Chicago, IL, attended Grand Valley State University where he earned his bachelor of science in biomedical sciences and doctorate of physical therapy degrees. Dr. May completed an orthopedic clinical specialist residency in Atlanta, GA through PT Solutions. Prior to accepting a job at PT Solutions of West Atlanta, Dr. May worked as a staff therapist at PT Solutions of Dunwoody; a clinic specializing in treatment of jaw pain (TMD), and was the volunteer assistant coach for the 2018 NCAA DII national champion Grand Valley State University men’s and women’s cross country programs. At PT Solutions of West Atlanta, Dr. May has treated many patients following surgical procedures and falls, athletes from all sports, back and neck pain, as well as concussions and vestibular disorders. Outside of his clinical care, Chris is a semiprofessional runner through the Atlanta Track Club with experience competing in the 2020 Olympic Trials at the marathon distance. In his free time, Chris enjoys spending time with his family and dog, reading, hiking and cooking.
