Dewey received his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Illinois in 2011, and then went on to receive his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Nova Southeastern in 2015. He has practiced in both South Florida and Chicago primarily in outpatient orthopedic settings. Dewey holds specialty certifications in Strength and Conditioning (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA). He is also certified in blood flow restriction (BFR) through Owen’s Recovery Science. He is currently participating in an orthopedic Residency Program as well. Dewey has an experienced background in athletics as he was a multisport athlete in high school and also played club soccer in college. Dewey enjoys treating athletes of any kind, especially the weightlifting population.
Outside of work, Dewey likes to travel, hike, camp and remains very active in various methods of strength training and fitness.
