Genia V. Gartman


Physical Therapist

In 2013, Genia received her Bachelor of Science in Allied Health and Life Sciences from the University of West Florida. Before attending graduate school, Genia volunteered at various clinics in Okaloosa County, Florida, including, Crestview Physical Therapy, Twin Cities Hospital, and Select Physical Therapy. She also volunteered at Grace Rides, a local center for therapeutic horseback riding. Genia then attended the University of South Florida in Tampa, Florida, and received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2018. During her last year of graduate studies, Genia returned to northwest Florida to complete her clinical training where she treated patients of all ages in a variety of clinical areas, including, but not limited to, inpatient, outpatient, post-operative, orthopedics, and pediatrics. Genia’s clinic interests are to work toward helping each individual achieve their functional goals and get them back to living their life to their fullest potential possible.

Genia was born and raised in Okaloosa County, Florida, and is privileged to return to the area to practice physical therapy. Genia lives in Crestview, Florida, with her Siamese cat, Kenia, and German Shepard dog, Elsa. Genia also enjoys spending time with her family and riding her horses.
