Isabella Badalament was born and raised in metro Detroit. She brought her physical therapy skill set from the Motor City to the Windy City, and is extremely eager and dedicated to making a difference in her patients’ lives. Her philosophy is not to just fix the impairment, but to optimize her patient’s overall physical well-being. Therefore, she includes her patients in every decision made and treats each patient as if they are a member of her own family.
She grew up in a family with many healthcare professionals, seeing the importance of different medical specialties collaborating and the vital role physical therapy has in patient care. Her interest in orthopedic and vestibular therapy stems from being a figure skater for over 20 years as she had to understand the importance of balance and precision. Fascinated by integrating fitness and human anatomy, Isabella finds great joy in helping people, whether the favor is big or small.
Isabella earned her bachelor of health science and doctorate of physical therapy at Oakland University in Rochester, Michigan. She completed her clinical rotations in mostly outpatient settings. She has always loved the outpatient setting because she can watch the patient go from their most vulnerable state back to a level of normalcy. Isabella has worked with an array of patient populations, ranging from 4-97 years old along with a plethora of conditions including orthopedic and vestibular ailments.
