Jeremy graduated from Tulane University in 2005 with a Bachelor of Exercise and Sports Science, while working as a student athletic trainer with both the baseball and football teams. He spent the next two years working within the Philadelphia Phillies minor league system as a strength and conditioning coach before attending Nova Southeastern University and receiving his Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2011. His first job following graduation was with PT Solutions where he worked in both outpatient orthopedics as well as hospital acute care in Fort Walton Beach, FL. After relocating to Boston for two years, he has now returned to PT Solutions (and warmer weather) to take over as Clinic Director at PT Solutions Carrollwood in conjunction with Florida Hospital.
Jeremy’s passion for physical therapy grew from an early age, following his mother around hospitals and clinics as she worked as a physical therapy assistant. A lifelong passion for sports, exercise, and health led him to work with high school, Division I, and professional athletes in both the clinical and team settings as well as adult and geriatric patients looking to improve their health. Jeremy’s approach to patient care is not just to return a patient to pain-free activity, but to help them achieve optimal health and performance. His clinical interests include shoulder rehabilitation of the overhead athlete and golf performance/injury prevention, and on weekends you can most often find him on the golf course. He is an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association Orthopedic Sports Section and is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist and Titleist Golf Performance Instructor.
Clinical experience includes:
- Treating triathletes and Boston Marathon runners with leg and back pain
- Developing Return to Golf programs for post-surgical orthopedic patients
- Working with youth athletes in baseball, gymnastics, swimming, and soccer
