Joy Ambrosio graduated from Emilio Aguinaldo College in Manila, Philippines in 1993 with a Bachelor of Physical Therapy and was directly hired to work in Illinois in 1994. She has been working in an outpatient setting as well as in acute and subacute rehabilitation. Joy has vast experience in treating various neurological and orthopedic conditions, particularly vestibular and spinal disorders. She is skilled with manual therapy to treat patient deficits, choosing techniques with or without instrumentation that can effectively improve functions. She believes that promoting overall wellness and not just improving her patients’ current dysfunction is essential to optimizing their quality of life. She has taken many continuing education courses that focus on the current evidence-based approach in rehabilitation to continue to provide excellent care.
