Karna Pfisterer has been a Physical Therapist Assistant for 33 years. She graduated from Oakton College in Des Plaines, IL on May 22, 1986, and has worked in many different settings including hospital inpatient, nursing home, work hardening, home health, wound care, and outpatient. She is certified in ETPS, Kinesio Tape, and Graston. The outpatient setting is her love and she has been serving Palm Coast for the last 16 years working with neurological diseases, balance, breast cancer, and orthopedics. She has been a patient before and knows the importance of listening to what you are wanting and needing from physical therapy to decrease the pain and increase your function, or as she states “getting your life back!” When Karna is not at work she enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, and doing yard work trying to keep up with the weeds of Florida!
