Growing up in a family with many elderly and disabled family members, Le’Shaunda developed an early interest in physical therapy. This inspired a desire to learn more about the human body to broaden her knowledge of physiology.
A native of Warner Robins, Georgia, Le’Shaunda graduated with honors from Houston County High School and attended Piedmont College in Demorest, Georgia where she played college basketball. After completing a bachelor of science in biology at Piedmont, Le’Shaunda worked as Senior Coordinator for PT Solutions outpatient clinic where she helped train front office staff and physical therapy aides.
In 2021, Le’Shaunda graduated with honors with the inaugural class of Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) students at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (PCOM) in Suwanee, Georgia. Le’Shaunda will be graduating from PT Solution’s Orthopaedic Clinical Residency Program in September 2022.
When not involved in work activities, Le’Shaunda enjoys being a ‘dog mom’ and cooking meals from scratch. She is committed to PT Solutions and is excited about increasing her knowledge of rehabilitation to help patients gain strength and mobility, and return to participating in enjoyable activities. Upon completing the Orthopaedic Clinical Residency Program, Le’Shaunda hopes to start traveling with the PT Solution’s travel team and work with orthopedic patients and athletes.
