Melanie grew up in Hawaii but quickly fell in love with the Cascades and Puget Sound when she attended the University of Washington for her Bachelor of Science in Molecular and Developmental Biology. She then commissioned into the U.S. Navy as a surface warfare officer. Her deployments include Southeast Asia, Central America, and the Middle East. She transitioned to the reserves and became a Doctor of Physical Therapy through The George Washington University, settling down in Washington state with her family.
Melanie enjoys working with people of all ages and from all walks of life, creating a tailored plan to help patients reach their goals and live life to the fullest.
When she isn’t serving patients, she enjoys cycling, weightlifting (kettlebells, in particular), and eating. Her ideal day would start with having chocolate for breakfast, followed by cycling to and from work, lifting weights and swinging ‘bells during lunch break, and then playing with her kiddo until they both fall asleep.
