
Michaela graduated from the University of Florida with a bachelor’s in applied physiology & kinesiology while conducting and publishing research to benefit people with Parkinson’s Disease. Upon graduating, Michaela was accepted to Arcadia University, near Philadelphia, PA, where she received her doctorate in physical therapy (DPT) and ate her fair share of cheese steaks. Her education provided her opportunities to learn about orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions and rehabilitation treatments. Along the way, Michaela found her passion working to improve the quality of life in people with neurologic conditions and diseases. Michaela grew up playing sports like softball and volleyball, but she stays active these days walking her dogs, hiking, and going to the gym. Michaela is an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association.
