Rick is originally from northern Idaho, where he grew up as a multisport athlete and spent most of his time outdoors. He played football in college, where his own injuries exposed him to the opportunity of pursuing a career in physical therapy. His fascination with the human body, problem solving, and making a difference in patients’ lives keeps him motivated to progress as a clinician. He leverages his background in sports performance and orthopedics to collaborate with his patients to help them achieve their goals through manual therapy, movement, exercise prescription, and education. His role is to identify and diagnose the root cause(s) of symptoms and foster long-term management and results. He aims to create an evolving and individualized plan, educate patients on how to manage their condition, build self-efficacy, restore their ability to do what they want to do, and most importantly, keep them healthy in mind and body. Whether you aspire to climb Mt. Rainier or play with your grandkids, Rick is here to help you accomplish your goals!
Whether it’s in the gym lifting weights or out in the mountains hiking and backcountry hunting, he is “at home” whenever he is active. As new residents to the city of Seattle, he and his wife are excited about exploring what the beautiful Pacific Northwest has to offer.
