Sam was born and raised in Camarillo, California, and moved to San Diego to go to college and play volleyball at Point Loma Nazarene University. She then attended San Diego State University for graduate school and earned her doctorate in physical therapy in 2019.
During school, she had the opportunity to travel to Thailand with nurses and other physical therapists to provide care to those without health insurance. She worked for Rehab United Physical Therapy for three years and specialized in college athletes as well as post-surgical patients. She is also certified in Applied Functional Science which focuses on movement and gait mechanics.
She moved to Florida with her fiancé in July of 2022 and has been enjoying the new scenery and people. Sam loves dogs, getting outside to enjoy nature, and desserts of any kind! Sam hopes to travel more in the future and become certified in dry needling.
