Todd performed his undergraduate studies at Washington State University in Pullman, Washington, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in English with a minor in Professional Writing. He attended Georgia State University’s Doctor of Physical Therapy program, earning his DPT degree. During his physical therapy education Todd had the opportunity to perform internships in the in-patient rehab, skilled nursing facility and home health physical therapy settings, in addition to two rotations in outpatient orthopedic clinics. Prior to his career change into the Physical Therapy profession, Todd worked as a deep-sea diver in the petroleum industry. His career as a diver took him from the Gulf of Mexico to Israel’s Mediterranean coast to the Bay of Campeche in Mexico, where he installed, repaired and removed sub-sea oil wells and pipelines. During his physically demanding 12-year diving career he found himself attempting to self-diagnose and rehabilitate numerous orthopedic aches and pains of his own, which ultimately led him to pursue a career in PT. He is especially interested in geriatrics and senior care, concussion rehabilitation and vestibular rehabilitation. Outside of work Todd enjoys riding motorcycles through the Georgia country roads, collecting and listening to vinyl records and attending live music events. Todd is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association and the Physical Therapy Association of Georgia. He is dry needling certified.
