“I broke my right ankle in a freak accident falling down the stairs in August, leaving me with a gnarly trimall fracture. I had two surgical procedures, the second of which occurred in mid-September, and my surgeon said out of the 120 ORIF procedures he's performed, my break was the 3rd worst he'd seen. I was under for 5 hours. I started PT in early November and worked with Cooper and Caroline, who are both fantastic. I started out on an intense 3x/week schedule, then gradually decreased my sessions to 1x/week as my strength and flexibility increased. I came in on walker, in a boot, and swiftly progressed to sneakers and a crutch. There's no way I would have healed as quickly as I did without their help. The exercises and stretches they provided me with both on-site and at home were instrumental in my recovery. I am back to work, driving, and walking very well considering the severity of my injury. I loved coming to PT and am going to miss seeing Cooper, Caroline, Arianna and the rest of the staff, who all work together as a team to help their patients, no matter how busy they are.
