“The people that work there are really nice and do a good job, however they do some costly misleading billing in my opinion. It's my opinion they misrepresent themselves as out patient Physical Therapy, when in fact they are in-hospital Physical Therapy so you end up paying more and the care is subject to a deductible by most insurance companies. If you don't understand those terms, it is a big deal when it comes to billing. The definition for in-hospital care is medical services received without a formal overnight hospital admission, where the patient receives care at a hospital and leaves the same day. We came here for after injury PT many days after the injury. My insurance is Cigna and it covers outpatient PT completely with a co payment. But they billed it to my insurance as in-hospital outpatient PT which is subject to a large deducible. Had we been told this up front we could have gone somewhere else and saved a lot of money. However when we initial set up the PT we were given forms signed by the manager saying they had verified our coverage with our insurance companies benefits and their services would be covered with us only paying a small co-payment. After hearing that we assumed that PT Solutions was outpatient care since our benefits summary clearly states that in-hospital PT is not covered and we were also not at a hospital. At no point did they say, just so you know we are not a outpatient care center, we provide in-hospital outpatient care. When I spoke to the manager about this she said that since there was a Wellstar logo on the documents I should have known it would be in-hospital care no matter what the document signed by her actually said. I think all the good reviews are based on the staff at this location, who are friendly and do a good job. But I wonder how many patients have been charged for their services not knowing they could have possibly received the same services for far less at an actual outpatient center.”
