“I had a very disappointing experience at PT Solutions while accompanying my mother to her therapy appointment. From the moment we arrived, the environment felt unwelcoming and unprofessional. I do want to acknowledge that the two front desk women were kind, respectful, and helpful during check-in. Unfortunately, that was the only positive part of our visit. Shortly after we sat down, Veronica approached us in a very rude manner and immediately stated that my mother’s appointment was at 2:30 PM and that she would not receive her full session time. I politely tried to show her the confirmation message indicating a 3:00 PM appointment, but she refused to even look at it. I then showed the front desk staff, who confirmed the 3:00 PM time. At that point, Veronica had to speak with Michael, the manager. From what I observed, there was clear disagreement between them, with Michael acknowledging that “things happen.” Despite this, the situation was handled poorly, and it felt like Veronica simply did not want to take on my mother as a patient. Throughout the visit, the overall treatment environment felt inconsistent and uncomfortable. I noticed a clear difference in how other patients were treated. For example, Michael remained by his male patient’s side the entire time, and Holly consistently stayed with her younger female patient. Similarly, when another (Caucasian) patient arrived, Veronica stayed closely with her throughout the session. In contrast, my mother was repeatedly given instructions and then left alone, with therapists going back and forth instead of providing consistent attention and support. This made me feel that my mother was not being treated with the same level of care or respect. As someone accompanying a loved one—especially when there may be language barriers—you expect patience, professionalism, and compassion. Unfortunately, that was not our experience. After leaving, I decided to cancel all future appointments. Michael later called me saying he “thinks he knows what happened,” but at that point, the damage had already been done. If there was an issue, it should have been addressed properly in the moment—not after a patient has already decided to leave. As a first responder, I take patient care and professionalism very seriously. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend this facility. It did not feel welcoming, especially for individuals who may be foreign or not fluent in English. I will not be returning.”
