Shannon Drake is the Chief Legal Officer at PT Solutions Physical Therapy. He leads the organization’s enterprise legal strategy and oversees legal, regulatory, governance, and risk-related matters across the company. He partners closely with executive and operational leaders to support growth, partnerships, and acquisitions while maintaining strong governance and compliance standards.
Shannon brings more than twenty-five years of healthcare legal leadership experience across large, fast-growing organizations, including publicly traded and private equity–backed providers. He is known for serving as both a strategic advisor and a practical business partner, with deep expertise in complex transactions, regulatory matters, and enterprise risk management.
Before joining PT Solutions, Shannon served as Deputy General Counsel at Independent Living Systems, where he supported legal and compliance functions across health plans and community-based provider organizations. Prior to that, he was Chief Legal Officer and Corporate Secretary at Aveanna Healthcare, a national provider with more than $2 billion in revenue, leading legal, risk, licensing, and contracting functions during a period of rapid growth. Earlier in his career, he held senior legal leadership roles at Kindred Healthcare and Gentiva Health Services and began his legal career as a Judge Advocate in the United States Marine Corps.
