Residency Publication Highlight: Paige Niles

Research Cognitive Behaviors Pt Solutions

As part of the PT Solutions Residency Program, residents actively pursue publication of their evidence-based research conducted while participating in the program. Residency graduate Paige Niles, PT, DPT’s studyUse of cognitive behavioural therapy with usual physical therapy intervention for individuals who are unemployed secondary to chronic low back pain: A case series, was featured in the peer-reviewed journal Musculoskeletal Care. Dr. Niles is currently Clinic Director for PT Solutions in Johnson City, TN.

Dr. Niles graduated with her bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from Michigan State University prior to completing her Doctorate of Physical Therapy at Grand Valley State University. She continued her education via extensive study and research involvement in the specialty areas of Orthopaedics and Women’s Health. Her post doctorate didactic studies included graduation from an Orthopaedic Residency program and continued advanced study via the American Physical Therapy Association’s Section of Women’s Health’s curriculum. In addition to being a full time physical therapist at PT Solutions, she is an active mentor and teacher for the continuing education of current orthopaedic residents.
