Physical Therapy Services In Manassas VA

Physical therapy is an evidence-based service rendered to restore mobility, improve functional independence, and educate patients to manage their conditions. Our goal is for our patients to achieve long-term success and be in control of their health. PT Solutions provides up-to-date knowledge and treatment to improve pain, stiffness, range of motion, strength, endurance, flexibility, balance, sport-specific activity, and much more.

Dry Needling

Dry needling, which is different than acupuncture, aids patients suffering from musculoskeletal complaints and diseases. Trauma, back pain, and arthritis are the most common conditions that dry needling can help. Your physical therapist will perform a physical assessment that will serve as a baseline for your results after dry needling is completed.

Manual Therapy

Hot packs and ultrasounds are a vital part of physical therapy, but manual therapy is a more hands-on approach—literally. With manual therapy, therapists rely on their hands, as opposed to a device or machine, to apply work on muscle tissue and joints. This type of therapy is the most helpful for acute and chronic back pain, where joints lack adequate mobility and range of motion.

Pediatric Orthopedic Care

Physical therapy doesn’t have to be scary or intimidating. At PT Solutions, we strive to make children of all ages feel right at home. Whether they’re being seen for developmental challenges or for a sports injury, we will make their experience not only fun, but also rewarding.

Vestibular Care

Vestibular therapy is performed specifically for inner ear disorders, like vertigo. Due to the disconnect between the inner ear and eyes, patients feel dizzy and off balance. First, a physical therapist will perform an assessment of your severity. Then, she or he will develop a unique care plan to help you regain balance and decrease dizziness.

Women’s Health

After the 6-week postpartum mark, most women are eager to return to their pre-pregnancy body in a healthy way. Our program will help you reduce postpartum pain and improve overall function. Our goal is to get you back to feeling healthy, in shape, and empowered through physical therapy.
