“Please be very cautious on what this therapy will cost you! I paid a $30.00 copay at each visit and understood this was the amount due after filing with Insurance. I received a bill in the mail 5 months later as they are charging over $200.00 per visit. PT solutions is a free standing facility but they are under Advent Health. Please, Please ask that they actually file with insurance first, do not trust this company with your benefits check. I unfortunately accepted their estimate of a $30.00 copay after they checked my benefits. They were wrong and not willing to budge on the remaining balance. This is going to now cost me over $200.00 per visit I attended.”

“I started physical therapy here a couple of months ago for hip surgery. At first, everything was going very well, then I was told that my sessions were just about used up. My insurance was through the VA because I am a veteran. I contacted the VA to obtain a new authorization. I had to have my orthopedic doctor fill out a request for Continued Care form. Once the VA received it they sent new authorizations for care to both the orthopedic doctor and the physical therapist. The orthopedic doctor received the authorization, and had no issues. However, there have been many issues with this physical therapy office pertaining to this new authorization. One physical therapist said that they received the authorization, and that I had 15 more visits, but another therapist persisted that something wasn't right with the date on the authorization. I contacted the VA, and the lady said they had sent everything over and that everything was authorized. When I called to confirm my upcoming appointments, the lady had informed me that all of my appointments have been canceled and that I had no authorization. I informed her that the authorization was sent over, and that I had more approved sessions. I even used some of those sessions. Now, all the sudden there is no authorization on record. This makes no sense. Then I asked the lady is there somebody in her office that coordinates with the VA to work through issues like this. She told me, "No, you have to do it all". She also said that, "We do not coordinate those issues, because we are an outpatient facility". I contacted the coordinator at the VA. She said she would try to call personally, but has never experienced anything like this . I truly feel that this inappropriate and unprofessional.”
