“Update 2025-12-12 - I have nothing but good words and thanks for the EXCELLENT Physical Therapy Clinicians who do a fantastic job, but getting to them on a cold, windy, rainy or snowy day, requires a tough walk for a healthy person, let alone physical therapy patients who have a long trek just to get to treatments that will make them walk better !!! This office in BluHawk is an extension of the PT Solutions main facility in the nearby medical office building at 7840 W 165th St which is attached to AdventHealth South Overland Park Hospital at 7820 W 165th St. The new Physical Therapy office extension of PT Solutions is located 102 Shawnee Dr #103 at the FAR North West end of the very large AdventHealth Sports complex that, above else, houses an Ice Skating Rink and some enterainment arcades, et al. The parking lot for this complex is at the Southwest and West side of the skating rink building. Unit #103 is a long, long way from that parking area, basically as far as you can get. Patients wanting physical therapy must WALK that very far distance. There's no drop-off circle closer. Just sidewalk and more sidewalk. The inner sidewalk that hugs the building stops at #103. The curbside outer sidewalk extends NE to another parking lot presumably for the almost-completed hotel, or for the new sports facility to be built in the intervening area. This parking lot is a bit closer to #103 than the west end one, but it's across a street, and walking to it requires hiking through a strip of vegetation (and continuous mulch) down a small incline to get to the parking lot level. No steps. Again, tricky walking for any person (like me) who needs the great Physical Therapy treatment at PT Solutions because I fell in sloping, wet grass alongside street repairs in a street in my townhome community. I recommend that the architect of the layout of the entire BluHawk facility be forced to walk 100 hours thru it to receive every paycheck, while a crowd is exiting from the Skating Rink. Overall the whole BluHawk is not well thought out. For example, the ambulance entrance for the hospital is sandwiched between the Skating Rink and the hospital, but so is the entrance/exit from the skating rink parking lot to the same steet.”
