Taylor Shanklin serves as a Senior Clinic Director in Asheville, NC. He attended University of North Carolina at Asheville (UNC Asheville) where he achieved a Bachelor of Science degree in Health and Wellness Promotion. While at the UNC Asheville, Taylor played soccer for the Men’s Soccer team and met his future wife. After spending two years teaching the health education program ‘Eat Smart, Move More, Weigh Less’, Taylor went back to school to pursue his Doctorate in Physical Therapy at Winston-Salem State University. After graduating from Winston-Salem, Taylor and is wife moved back to Asheville, and he completed PT Solutions’ Orthopedic Residency Program.
Taylor’s favorite thing about being a physical therapist is having the opportunity each day to make daily connections with new people and facilitate movement, so patients can get back to their daily lives without limitations.
Taylor currently lives in Asheville with his wife and two dogs, Tayrun and Danger. Taylor enjoys spending time with his family and enjoying the outdoors. His favorite hobbies include cooking, playing soccer and disc golf, and running with his wife.
