Frequently Asked Questions

What happens next?

You will receive three emails titled “Welcome to PT Solutions,” “Onboarding Disclosure Form,” and “PT Solutions Transition Letter.” These emails initiate your onboarding through our applicant tracking system, iCIMS. Please sign your transition letter and complete the steps in iCIMS to prepare for our first day together. Please refer to, “What to Expect During Onboarding” for additional details.

For more clarity, please take advantage of our one-on-one meeting opportunities and the Onboarding Fairs over the next few days! We are here to answer questions specific to your situation and concerns.

What will change for us?

We understand change is not easy, and PT Solutions’s dedicated Integration Team is committed to helping you through all this uncertainty. Your daily tasks and focus on patient care will remain unchanged at this time. PT Solutions will train you on any changes in the coming weeks. You are encouraged to ask questions and communicate ideas to the PTS team.

What about the PTO I’ve already accrued?

Your PTO balance will be addressed per hospital policy. You may choose to allocate any money paid out to essentially pay yourself for currently scheduled time off. The Integration Team can explain how this works and answer specific questions in more detail.

Do I still have a job?

Yes! Everyone will receive an employment transition letter from PT Solutions reflecting your current rate of pay and seniority date. PT Solutions, in partnership with the hospital, is committed to a smooth transition focused on you. While we hope that our mission, vision, and values align with your professional standards and personal goals, we understand that you did not choose to work with PT Solutions, and we respect your personal decision-making during this time. You will have the opportunity to talk with the Integration Team one-on-one to ask any questions and discuss individual concerns. We do hope you choose to join and thrive at PT Solutions.

Who will be my new boss? What happens to current leadership?

PT Solutions leadership will meet with everyone individually to understand your goals and get to know you. The organizational structure will be explained further at that time. Over the next 30 days, you will have the opportunity to meet the PTS leadership team, who will work hand in hand with your current leadership team.

I have a vacation scheduled already, will I still be able to take that?

PT Solutions recognizes those days previously requested and will work with employees on how to establish future requests. There is no need to change any plans at this time. Please direct specific questions to the PTS team.

Meet SLP Josi Nino

Speech-Language Pathologist Josi Nino joined PT Solutions through a hospital partnership in 2013.

With years of clinical experience under her belt, she knew she wanted to pursue an eventual leadership role. Opportunities were scarce at the hospital. After joining PT Solutions, new career pathways opened up that she would have never imagined. Today, Josi leads a team of leaders across the country and has helped develop incentive structures, education, and career development for clinicians across the practice.

MEET PT KIM YEAROUT

Senior Clinic Director Kim Yearout, PT, joined PT Solutions through an Ascension hospital partnership.

At first, Kim was nervous when she heard that Ascension Via Christi was transitioning ownership to PT Solutions in 2021. However, after meeting the transition team and learning how committed they are to her success, her anxieties were soothed. Kim appreciates PT Solutions investment in their patients, as well as their team members, providing ample growth opportunities.

Now, Kim is thankful for PT Solutions’ investment in patient care and her team through providing career growth opportunities.
