Andrea is a Speech-Language Pathologist from Houston, TX. She attended the University of Texas in Austin, TX and received her Bachelor of Communication Sciences and Disorders. Following her bachelors, she attended the University of North Texas and graduated with her Master of Speech-Language Pathology with a minor in Audiology. Shortly after graduation, she received her American Speech-Language Hearing Association Certificate of Clinical Competence. Professionally, she particularly enjoys treating patients dealing with adult dysphagia and cognition-communication issues. Andrea finds her passion in being able to help people reconnect with their families and communities. She loves helping others to achieve a sense of worth by giving patients and their families the tools to help them eat, communicate, and manage their daily lives. Outside of work, Andrea likes to read, garden, decorate for the holidays, and spend time with family. A fun fact about Andrea is that she is interested in history and is a descendant of a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution. Because of her interest in history, she has explored at least twelve countries, most of which were traveled to when she lived in Europe for eleven years!
