Brooke Tate


Physical Therapist

Brooke received her B.S. from the University of Florida in Gainesville, FL in 2018 and her Doctorate of Physical Therapy at the University of Florida in 2021. Before becoming a physical therapist, she spent several years as an Olympic Weightlifting coach, personal trainer, and group fitness instructor where she became familiar with many formats of exercise. Brooke is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist and a USA Weightlifting Level 2 Coach. She competed in cross country and weightlifting during her years growing up in New Port Richey, FL, and also enjoys other recreational sports such as ultimate frisbee, rock climbing, and volleyball. Brooke enjoys treating the lower extremity athlete and those with injuries related to weightlifting or CrossFit. She has participated in continuing education courses focused on concussion treatment, manual therapy techniques, and running mechanics. She is looking forward to getting more involved in youth athletics, as she has recently moved back to the Tampa area in 2021. In her free time, Brooke enjoys spending time with her husband and family, gardening, cooking, and getting out on the water for activities like fishing or scuba diving.
