D’Marlowe graduated from Robert Gordon University in Scotland, UK with her MSc in Physiotherapy in January 2016 and started working with a private practice orthopedic outpatient clinic in El Paso, Texas 2 weeks later. While there, she had great colleagues at two different locations in El Paso who were from the area, so they were able to show her the ins and outs of the new city she had chosen. She learned some great techniques and was grateful to have had such a nurturing environment for her first job straight out of university. They helped her to improve her McKenzie techniques and evaluations and to work with aquatic therapy patients. After 2 years with that practice, D’Marlowe decided to move to Atlanta to work with PT Solutions in January 2018. When she started with the practice, she was helping at various locations across the metro Atlanta area, which helped her to learn her way around the city. D’Marlowe was named Clinic Director of the West Atlanta location in November 2018 where she continues to treat today.
D’Marlowe played rugby for many years in Washington, DC, Wyoming and Scotland after getting her bachelor’s degree in 2005 from Cornell University, and is passionate about being a part of the local Atlanta rugby community. She has also been doing outreach in our under-served populations by doing injury screens at health fairs, attending health seminars for the Atlanta urban areas, and keeping up with general practice and education.
