Garrison Matthews


Clinic Director

Garrison attended Campbell University in North Carolina where he received his undergraduate degree in kinesiology and his Doctorate of Physical Therapy. As a former collegiate wrestler, Garrison is passionate about sport, fitness, and athlete performance. He specializes in the treatment of both upper and lower extremity orthopedic conditions, spine, surgical rehabilitation, balance/falls, and vestibular dysfunction. Garrison has also completed LSVT BIG certification to treat individuals with Parkinson’s disease.
He is currently the Clinic Director in our South Tampa location but has also worked in our Brandon and Sun City locations. Additionally, he acts as a clinical mentor for new graduates in the practice and is frequently a clinical instructor for physical therapy students. Outside of the clinic, Garrison coaches high school wrestling, volunteers as a staff physical therapist for the USA Patriots (traveling veterans amputee softball team), and regularly participates in Crossfit and weightlifting.
